God's Will or Mine?

Growing in Christ is not a question of whether God is willing... he is. But is it my will? Am I willing to let God do in me everything that has been made possible through the the Cross of Christ? (My Utmost)
All that Jesus made possible becomes mine through the free and loving gift of God. We must remember the promise from Romans 8:31: "So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us?"
When it is not 'my will' to become all that God made me to be, to not allow Jesus to work in my life, then it must be because I doubt his love, or that I doubt he knows what is absolutely best for me. And how preposterous is that? How could I ever doubt God's care as a loving Father after his demonstration on the cross?
"The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture." (Romans 8:34-35)
No, nothing we do or anyone else does can separate us from the love of God. We can only decide not to accept his love today, and ignore the work he wants to do in us. And then we make ourselves out to be fools, I suppose.
