Please be Seated

Much of the time we think of the promise of God referring to 'that day'. "We will be raised with him" or "We will reign with him" come ot mind.
But look at this peculiar passage from Ephesians 2:6 "For he raised us from the dead along with Christ, and we are seated with him in the heavenly realms--all because we are one with Christ Jesus" (full passage)
We are seated with him in the heavenly realms. At this moment, as children of God, we are seated with Christ. We have access now to all the power and resources of Heaven. Why we continue to try to live by the earth's ways and means is beyond me.

Have It Your Way?

I remember the old Burger King commercial jingle... "Have it your way... have it your way!" Perhaps we should be singing that to God...
"If you are hard and vindictive, insistent on having your own way, and always certain that the other person is more likely to be in the wrong than you are, then there are whole areas of your nature that have never been transformed by His gaze." (more at: My Utmost)
A wake-up call of sorts... Am I aware of any areas in my life that still need to be transformed? Am I willing to ask God to show me?
